NWOYA DISTRICT FLAGS OFF THE SIXTH BATCH OF YOUTH TO THE PRESIDENTIAL INDUSTRIAL HUB
In Nwoya District today, a major boost for youth employment has been registered today following the official flagging off of the sixth intake of students heading to the Presidential Industrial Hub.
The colorful send-off ceremony, held at the Nwoya District Commercial Boardroom, was jointly presided over by the Resident District Commissioner, Afande Omara Christopher, and the District LCV Chairperson, Honorable Okello Patrick Oryema.
Speaking during the flagging-off ceremony, the district leadership urged the newly enrolled students to maintain high discipline, focus on their technical training, and maximize this free government opportunity to build self-reliance.
The Presidential Industrial Hub initiative focuses on equipping young people with certified vocational competencies to help them actively integrate into the commercial economy.
